At Monfrère you have the ability to swap or return your online bought products within 14 working days, starting at the day of receipt. When you want to change or swap a product, you are obliged to do so with a completed return form, accompanying receipt and in the original package.
The address to send the return packages to is 1012 HR Kuiperssteeg 12 in Amsterdam.
We only accept non-damaged unworn products, with the original tags and labels still attached.
Please note: the risk and costs associated with a return shipment are at own expense.
After we have received your return shipment, we aim to deposit the due amount within 10 working days to your bank account.
Article 1- Webshop
the webshop is registered at the chamber of commerce and is complying with all legal provisions towards the tax authorities. You can find our chamber of commerce registration number and VAT number on our website. you can find our contact details there as well.
Our webshop has a SLL-certificate. That means we comply with all legal demands regarding the safeguarding of your personal details en payment details.
We will never forward your personal details to any third party. Whenever we will forward your personal details to third parties, we will ask for your permission first.
Article 2 – Reflection period
2.1. you have a reflection period of 14 days, after buying a product in our webshop. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are allowed to return your purchase to us, without costs. You only have to pay the shipment costs for returning said purchase bought in our webshop. If you have already made a payment you will receive a credit note and will have the amount you paid for the purchase returned to your bank account within 30 days at the latest.
2.2. products returned to us ought to be returned in original condition, including the original package. The original labels and tags should still be attached. We cannot accept products lacking these, unfortunately.
Article 3 – The agreement
3.1. the agreement between the webshop and the customer is definite when the customer has notified to agree with the general terms & conditions and when he has authorized the webshop to deduct money from his bank account, when the customer has made a payment through iDEAL or Paypal. When the reflection period of 14 days has passed and the payment has been received by Mon Frère, the customer has become owner of relevant product from our webshop.
3.2. the agreement has been digitally established, by filling in the required fields and by agreeing with the general terms & conditions. After you have finalized your purchase you will receive a written confirmation of your purchase via e-mail, stating which product you have purchased and at which price.
3.3. we are legally obliged to deliver the product or article you have purchased within the term of 30 days at the latest. If, by unforeseen circumstances, the article is not available within this period, we will notify you per e-mail. After passing these 30 days we will return the amount you have paid for the purchase.
3.4. de shipment of products abroad can take longer than a shipment in the Netherlands. The costs associated with a shipments to a foreign address are visible when you are about the buy the product.
Article 4 – Liability
4.1 Monfrère cannot be held responsible, in any case, for any damage or injury caused by one or more products from the webshop.
4.2 Monfrère cannot be held responsible, in any case, for adjustments in the general terms & conditions. The general terms & conditions agreed to on the moment of purchase are seen as legally valid.
Article 5 – Price
5.1 The prices on our webshop are always including VAT. The costs for shipment of the product are visible when you have added the product to your cart.
5.2 The price for a product mentioned on the webshop cannot change during your purchase. You will pay the amount shown at a certain product, which will also be confirmed to you if you digitally agree with the purchase. The purchase price will be shown again in the confirmation.
5.3. whenever you buy a product during a period without any special rates applicable, you will not be eligible afterwards for reduction of the purchase price by you.
Article 6 – Complaints
6.1. Complaints about the delivery need to notified to us in writing. We will then contact the relevant deliverer concerning the delivery of the product.
6.2 Complaints about the product itself should be notified to us in writing. Describe your complaint as specific as possible. we will try to solve the problem, if it is within our capabilities.
6.3 Complaints are usually being considered by us within 48 hours, and we are aiming to solve the complaint as good as possible. the processing of a complaint is always in writing. We are always striving to give you the best service possible.
6.4 If you discover a shortcoming or defect we request that you notify us within 48 hours after purchase. Without a receipt no refund can be made, in these cases.
